Went to the Landmine Museum today which was a shocking eye opener.
The statistics on landmines are horrific. Cambodia is littered with these things and incredibly, some countries are still laying landmines, the US included! 14 people a maimed or killed by landmines everyday somewhere in the world.
We saw lots of landmine amputees begging or selling things in Siem Reap while we were there.
It certainly made me wary of wandering off the path in Cambodia.
