Varkala, India 30/12/07

Arrived in Kerala and decided to stay in Varkala has everyone says it is very nice. And they are right! We are staying up on the north cliff which is really chilled out and relaxed with loads of good places to eat.

The beach is really nice and clean and the sea is nice and cool as the temperature here is pretty hot.

There isn't really much to do here except relax and chill out and eat, which suits us just fine!

We have found a couple of Aveley lads wandering about, Johnny Beer and Mattie Smith which was really great. We had a nice few days wandering around with them and catching up on their news.

We have decided to go to Sri Lanka from here as the flights are cheap so we've booked them, but have a few days left to kill before we leave. We've all decided to go down to Kovallam to see how much our little fishing village has changed since we were last there.
